{"id":11407,"date":"2012-11-19T13:08:54","date_gmt":"2012-11-19T17:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devwp.davison.com\/blog\/?p=11407"},"modified":"2017-08-21T10:38:11","modified_gmt":"2017-08-21T14:38:11","slug":"davison-licensing-team-at-nfm-expo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/blog\/davison-licensing-team-at-nfm-expo\/","title":{"rendered":"Licensing Team Gobbles Up Success at Non-Foods Marketing Expo"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11410 photo aligncenter\" title=\"non foods marketing nfm logo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/non-foods-marketing-nfm-logo.jpg\" alt=\"non foods expo\" width=\"504\" height=\"131\" \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With  Thanksgiving (mashed potatoes) approaching this (turkey) week, it\u2019s  hard (stuffing) to think about (pumpkin pie) anything but\u2026 <strong><em>food!<\/em><\/strong> However, we\u2019ve finally caught up with our Licensing Team, who recently  attended Atlantic City\u2019s Non-Foods Marketing (NFM) Expo, which includes  literally everything\u2026 <strong><em>except food. <\/em><\/strong>The trade show now carries on a 10-year tradition of catering to  retailers interested in general merchandise, including a variety of  products and seasonal items one may find at a grocery or drug store\u2026 you  know right behind the poultry seasoning or turkey basters! <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-11409 photo\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"Hugs-at-NFM\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Hugs-at-NFM.jpg\" alt=\"hugs pet products at NFM\" width=\"346\" height=\"260\" \/>The NFM Expo hosted over 150 vendors, including Hugs Pet Products and AWAY Bug Repellent, past licensees of Davison products, who both showcased many awesome Davison designs.<\/p>\n<p>According  to Davison\u2019s Vice President of Business Development and Licensing Dan Simbeck, the show was very successful for Hugs and AWAY!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe show went well and was made up of wide variety of  retailers\u2026\u00a0Hugs and AWAY both made an impact at the show with product  sales and good meetings, which will increase sales and distribution in  2013!\u201d said Simbeck.<\/p>\n<p>Simbeck also told us that the NFM Expo allowed Hugs and AWAY to  connect with retailers that they may not typically have the chance to do  meet with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u201dMostly small to mid size retailers (1 store \u2013 250 stores), along with a few big boys like Walgreens,\u201d said Simbeck.<\/p>\n<p>From the east coast to the west coast, Simbeck also shared a quick  pic from the SEMA and AAPEX shows, where Davison-designed car cleaning  products really shined!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11408 photo\" title=\"SEMA-AAPEX\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SEMA-AAPEX.jpg\" alt=\"sema appex davison designs\" width=\"460\" height=\"613\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Where will we find our Licensing Team next? \u00a0Stay tuned!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; With Thanksgiving (mashed potatoes) approaching this (turkey) week, it\u2019s hard (stuffing) to think about (pumpkin pie) anything but\u2026 food!
