Today, we\u2019re pleased to announce that the official numbers have been tallied and the event raised nearly $56,000 for the Foundation\u2019s Family Life Auxiliary.<\/p>\n<p>The Valentine\u2019s Day \u201cA Sweet Gesture:  Chocolate Factory of Invention\u201d event attracted more than 420 guests to our creative wonderland, which Whirl Magazine deemed a \u201cmagnet for inventors with a dream\u201d in their April 2013 issue, which has just hit newsstands.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12920\" style=\"margin-left: 10px\" title=\"Whirl-Sweet-Gestures-Event\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Whirl-Sweet-Gestures-Event.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"322\" height=\"214\" \/> \u201cGuests reveled in the presentation and taste of fresh fruit kebabs, displayed on giant red and white polka-dotted mushrooms, with vanilla dipping sauce and real golden eggs filled with velvety cream of tomato soup.  How sweet, and scrumptious,\u201d Whirl\u2019s writer commented.<\/p>\n<p>The magazine also published a few photos from the event in their latest issue and online at whirlmagazine.com.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12918\" style=\"margin-right: 10px\" title=\"Pittsburgh-Business-Times\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Pittsburgh-Business-Times.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"186\" height=\"50\" \/> The Children\u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation\u2019s event at Inventionland was also covered in the Pittsburgh Business Times\u2019 \u201cAfter Hours\u201d section in early March.<\/p>\n<p>There, Mr. and Mrs. Davison appeared with David and Laura Mabon.  Ms. Mabon co-chaired the event.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the Children\u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation on another great \u201cA Sweet Gesture\u201d event!
