So, let\u2019s throw our hands up in the air to enjoy the ride and stay motivated! Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why are you doing this?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most inventions are solutions to problems. So, before you begin, a good exercise is to find your <em>why<\/em> \u2013your passion. What\u2019s the driving force behind why you want this product to succeed? Why is this invention so important to you? If you can commit yourself to this frame of mind, you can keep your mind on the end goal and remain focused, no matter what happens along the way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have a buddy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you are ready to climb on board a rollercoaster, you likely will be bringing along that person who shares in your excitement or someone who is there to push you beyond your comfort zone and provides you with some solace when you\u2019re scared. If you have a person like that in your life, ask them to be your support system throughout your inventing journey. Treat them as your confidante, a trustworthy person you can bounce ideas off of and someone that will support you on your journey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay on track.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes there are rollercoasters with a track that\u2019s so smooth you glide right along. Other times, there are more unsteady tracks that\u2019ll still propel you forward, but you\u2019ll feel a bump here and there. Depending on your ride, there will be a healthy mix of smoothness and bumpiness. But, at the end of the day, each track has the potential to lead to you to the ultimate goal. As is with everything in life, change is a constant and it\u2019s how you deal with change that can either lead to a positive or negative experience. While on your inventing ride, not everything will fall into place perfectly or how you expected. Though you may imagine that you\u2019ll be on the smooth track from start to finish, the reality of the matter is that there are tracks along the way that could throw you for a loop.
