<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nPITTSBURGH – November 30, 2006 – In time for the holiday season, a new line of Davison Design and Development-designed interactive mealtime products, featuring the popular Nickelodeon shows Dora The Explorer and Go, Diego Go!, recently shipped to Wal-Mart Canada stores.<\/p>\n
Davison made the unique interactive items, manufactured by Canada’s Calego, to help active children focus on mealtime.<\/p>\n
Designers at Davison found that children often become unfocused and leave the dinner table to pursue other activities, abandoning their food. The line consists of the sideshow tumbler, the dinner spinner and plate and the collapsible food tray. Each one has a Dora and a Diego version.<\/p>\n
The sideshow tumbler, a unique interactive cup, lights up when a button at the base is pressed, which initiates a short film strip to rotate around the cup. The dinner spinner and plate allows children to spin their food with a touch of a button. The collapsible food tray comes equipped with collapsible legs to prop up the dinnerware whenever necessary.<\/p>\n
The products were created in the award-winning Pittsburgh design firm’s InventionLand\u2122, the world’s most creative workspace.<\/p>\n
