{"id":5929,"date":"2012-01-26T13:47:19","date_gmt":"2012-01-26T18:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devwp.davison.com\/blog\/?p=5929"},"modified":"2023-03-20T10:57:39","modified_gmt":"2023-03-20T14:57:39","slug":"good-morning-davison-designs-so-glad-to-see-you-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/blog\/good-morning-davison-designs-so-glad-to-see-you-today\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cGood Morning,\u201d Davison Designs, So Glad to See You \u201cToday!\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, we announced that our client, Jean\u2019s, Meatball Baker, which offers a healthy alternative to greasy meatballs, was featured in the most recent Avon catalog and at shopavon.com.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft photo\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Chicago-Metallic-GMA-Secret-Deals-Steals.jpg\" alt=\"Davison Product in Avon Magazine\" width=\"322\" height=\"274\" \/>It turns out, that great news was just the first bit of excitement the Meatball Baker has been cooking up lately!\u00a0 Nearly as soon as we heard that our\u00a0\u201cMeatball Queen\u201d Became an \u201cAvon Lady,\u201d\u00a0the Meatball Baker was back at it!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This time, it was Good Morning America\u2019s (GMA) \u201dSecret Steals and Deals\u201d website that featured the Meatball Baker \u2013 and for 60% off at that!\u00a0 For 48 hours, interested cooks everywhere could purchase the Meatball Baker for $8.80!<\/p>\n<p>GMA also published an accompanying article called \u201cMom Inventions: Exclusive Deals and Steals, Just for \u2018GMA\u2019 Viewers,\u201d which commended our client, Jean, on her invention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5930 photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Chicago-Metallic-Bakeware-Meatball-Baker.jpg\" alt=\"Davison Client Product\" width=\"442\" height=\"205\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMom\/grandmother inventor \u201cJean the Meatball Queen\u201d partnered with Davison, a new-products development company, to develop this rack that holds small, medium and extra-large meatballs letting all the fat drain into the bottom of baker,\u201d the article stated.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3552 photo\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/jeancutout-copy-176x300.jpg\" alt=\"Davison Inventor\" width=\"141\" height=\"240\" \/>We couldn\u2019t wait to be the first to tell Jean the great news either!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cTo be truthful, I am not much of a TV watcher, so I really never heard of it until you just told me about it.\u00a0 I do like the publicity though,\u201d said Jean.\u00a0\u00a0 Jean expressed how happy she was about all the exposure her Meatball Baker has received and said she, sometimes, is still in disbelief!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cAt times, it is still hard to believe that my idea has truly came to life.\u00a0 I am seeing my idea used in other ways too, meaning I have seen my pan duplicated with just a change in the handle at a Farm &amp; Fleet store in Eau Claire, Wi.\u00a0 I have also seen the meatloaf pan where the grease drains through a grid for a healthier meal.\u00a0 So, I look at it as my idea must have been a good one, if it is being used in all sorts of ways,\u201d said Jean.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>As for the possibility of her invention being in the news even more?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cThe press can talk about my pan all they want,\u201d said Jean.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of great press for Davison-designed products, we also found the Silicone Dessert Bar Pan on a Bed Bath &amp; Beyond advertisement on the NBC Today Show website!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5932 photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Dessert_Bar_Pan.jpg\" alt=\"Davison in Media\" width=\"460\" height=\"140\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What will be the next Davison-designed product we find out there?\u00a0 We can&#8217;t wait to see!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>A typical project does not get a royalty agreement, sell in stores or generate a profit.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, we announced that our client, Jean\u2019s, Meatball Baker, which offers a healthy alternative to greasy meatballs, was featured in the most recent Avon catalog and at shopavon.com.
