competition, which\u00a0launched\u00a0in late January, gives small and large companies the opportunity to submit product ideas and supporting videos to the mega-retailer, in hopes of landing their products on Walmart&#8217;s store shelves.<\/p>\n<p>Hugs Pet Products, an innovative pet product company that licenses many Davison-designed products, has\u00a0entered several of those designs in the competition, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pugz Shoes<\/li>\n<li>Hydro Ball<\/li>\n<li>Hydro Bone<\/li>\n<li>Hydro Saucer<\/li>\n<li>Better Tether<\/li>\n<li>Dog Wash<\/li>\n<li>Auto Dish<\/li>\n<li>Cool Cot<\/li>\n<li>Cool Cottage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since the start of the submission period, the &#8220;Get on the Shelf&#8221; contest has created quite a bit of buzz in the press.\u00a0 USA Today reported on the competition and even showcased some early entries,\u00a0including the Davison-designed Pugz Shoes for Dogs that our client, Kay, invented!<\/p>\n<p>According to USA Today, \u201cSome of the offbeat products competing include Pugz Shoes \u2014 boots for puppies that keep your pooch\u2019s paws warm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6532 photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Get-on-the-Shelf-4.jpg\" alt=\"Pet Innovations\" width=\"460\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Starting today, consumers have the opportunity to\u00a0visit www.getontheshelf.com to browse all submitted entries and vote for their favorites.\u00a0 According to an Advertising Age article, top vote-getters will be featured at Walmart online and may sell in select stores.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe top three vote-getters will be sold on Walmart .com, and a grand prize winner will be featured on the home page for its 50 million monthly unique visitors and in select Walmart stores,\u201d the article stated.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6534 photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davison.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Get-on-the-Shelf-2-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"New Product Contest\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/>&#8220;Get on the Shelf&#8221;
