For our client, George, it was sheer coincidence that first led him to Inventionland… but, there were many things that have kept him coming back!<\/p>\n
\u201cI found Inventionland by accident.\u00a0 My boss sent me to RIDC Park to pick up a part.\u00a0 [When I saw Inventionland], I snapped a picture and in two to three days, I was on it.\u00a0 I Googled \u2018Inventionland\u2019 and did some research.\u00a0 At the time, I already had one invention going on\u2026 and, here I am today,\u201d<\/em> said George.<\/p>\n Now, the\u00a0local firefighter is working on his second product idea at Inventionland.\u00a0 According to Senior Director of New Products, Robert, who has been working closely with George, it is a privilege to help a client with an idea that could save lives.<\/p>\n \u201cGeorge and several high-ranking members of Pittsburgh fire departments have banded together to do this idea.\u00a0 They have coordinated several real fire tests on the product together\u2026 which is fascinating,\u201d<\/em> said Robert.<\/p>\n “My tour consisted of family members, professional firefighters, the fire marshal <\/em>and investors,\u201d<\/em> said George.\u00a0 \u201c[The tour and my group’s reactions] gave me confidence and motivation as to what I\u2019m trying to achieve here.\u00a0 [Inventionland] is for real and a select few people get to see this.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n While many of our wide-eyed visitors are initially impressed with Inventionland\u2019s whimsical scenery and magical sets, it was the more technical side of the facility that really impressed George and his tour group.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat caught my attention most was the video and photography department\u2026 from the green screen to the kitchen display.\u00a0 The other tour group members were also impressed with the graphic design capabilities,\u201d<\/em> said George, who also said that his crew is not always easily impressed.
